# Bug - comment history in project feedback url?

We’re getting project owners to provide progress updates using the feedback URL. When users click the link to provide comments or attachments, comment history is not displayed. However, when opening the item URL users can view the full comment history.

First screenshot is the feedback form after clicking Enter Comments & Upload Attachments link accessed via the feedback url in an awareness notification email.
Second screenshot is accessing the the comments and attachments via the item URL in an awareness notification or accessing the project module.

Yep , this could be improved.
Now you might want to consider a different way of collecting comments and attachments which is using hte normal user interface, people on the warning or awareness notification could get the link to the item and they would click on the menu … then comments … and provide feedback that way. you can complement this with comments and attachments notifications so on every new feed an email is sent.
Just mentioning that there is perhaps other ways to do this other than “Feedback”

It seems like there’s an issue where comment history isn’t displayed when users provide progress updates using the feedback [URL](https://www.subscriptionflow.com). However, it appears when they access the item URL directly. This might be due to a configuration or permission setting. Check your system settings related to feedback URLs and ensure they allow access to comment history.
