After the [AI Assistant](https://discussions.eramba.org/t/feature-ai-assistant/9086), we are looking at AI actions. They are very similar to [Automations](https://discussions.eramba.org/t/feature-automation/6996), only instead of a PHP script you write an instruction in plain language. An administrator saves an instruction once for a section, and users can then run it on any item without writing a prompt or opening the chat.

On Audits it could be _Evaluate audit_, on Policies _Check grammar_. You select an item, open **AI actions** in the bottom bar and pick one. The result appears in the item’s Activity Log and waits there. It shows what the action found or wants to change, and nothing is saved until you click **Confirm**.

Actions for the whole system, like _New items this week_, run from the AI assistant and answer in the conversation.

For now you start every action yourself. Later we could also schedule them, the way automations run every hour or every day.
