Feature - Custom Fields as URL

It would be great if in the custom Fields drop down of field types if you could have URL. This would then act as a Hyperlink so for example in my asset management I have a custom filed that has the URL of the application. It would be nice to be able to just click on the hyperlink and it takes you to there.

This would be good also in Security Services where I would like to link directly to the Control Panel of a given control. finally if we get customisation to Project Management I would like to be able to link to the likes of Visual Studio Online or Trello that might be running the actual project.

This feature is very closely related to Feature - Render URLs as links in description.

For both I found a browser plugins that pretty much does all that I am asking for:

Haven’t looked yet, but I’m sure there is equivalent plugins for other browsers.
