# Feature - Direct link for Contracts

Add a “Direct Link” be added to Contracts so they can be referenced externally.
Similar to the link available under Policies … Actions

this has been discussed here: [Feature - Direct link to item](https://discussions.eramba.org/t/feature-direct-link-to-item/956) and there is an issue for it … the feature will be applied to all sections and items but we need to plan it well because is not that simple.

Have you considered implementing a shareable link by use a filter query?
For example, something like https://…/service-contacts?filter=id-41
Maybe that would be easier to implement and would offer users the similar desired fuctionality?

we are thinking on re-working filters quite a lot and this might come handy
