# Feature Request / Optimization: Customizable Reminder Frequency for Awareness Training (Daily Reminders Issue)

I am reaching out to ask about a feature optimization regarding the notification system for Awareness training.
**The Issue**
Currently ( **Eramba Enterprise v. 3.30.0** ), when a training assignment is created, the user receives an initial email. However, once the **Reminders** option is enabled, the system starts sending reminders **EVERY DAY**.
With a large number of users and multiple active training campaigns, this behavior causes significant issues:
- **Inbox Spam:** Employees experience notification fatigue and start ignoring important alerts.
- **Server Overload:** It creates a heavy, unnecessary load on our corporate mail server.
**My Question**
In earlier versions of the platform, it was possible to configure both the frequency and the total number of reminders.
Is there a current workaround to change the interval (e.g., to once a week or every 5 days) via configuration files or backend admin settings?

Hi Alex,
Yes, the current reminder behavior is not ideal and we’re aware of it.
The whole Awareness module is being rebuilt right now and will ship in v3.31. The new notification settings cover exactly this:
- After Start Reminder - first reminder after N days, repeat every N days, maximum reminders
- Before End Reminder - N days before end date
- Non-Completion Notification - optional
