I’m trying to add a Feed for our Eramba Account Review using the API, I already read the documentation and followed the steps explained by Kisero, but when I send the request I get the error "A validation error occurred: pull\_validation.pull - Incorrect feed format. Row #1 could not be processed as it does not meet the template format, the error we got error is (Row appears to be incomplete).; ".

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I used the same example as de documentation, and tried all .csv formats available in Excel.

Does anyone have any tips?

It’s been a minute since I did one of these, but I think the importer is expecting 3 columns. You’ve only got two columns of data, so excel won’t add another comma after the second. Try putting dummy data in the third and see what happens?

I made the modification as you suggested, but it still gives the same error. 🙁

Which delimiter do you use in your csv?

Excel places ‘;’ between the fields and eramba expects ‘,’ (‘real’ comma-separated)

Thanks, that was the problem.

Even though I was saving the format as CSV (comma-separated), Excel was still saving it with semicolons as separators.

I had to open the file in Notepad and edit it; that way, it worked.

This is a pretty annoying behaviour with Windows/Excel. Some Windows regional settings use semicolons as delimiters instead of commas. Here is a more detailed explanation if you are interested

> I will try to explain a common issue users encounter when using the CSV templates, where fields end up stacked into a single column. This issue is caused by CSV delimiters and typically occurs on Windows systems using Excel with non-English regional settings. In Eramba, all templates are provided in CSV format and UTF-8 encoding. CSV stands for Comma-Separated Values and is a plain text data format where fields are separated by commas. That said, if you download a template and open it with a t…
