Question - Notifications that audits are coming due

I want to send a notification 10 days before an audit is due. Do I choose Scheduled Audit in (-10 days) or Scheduled Audit in (+10 days). The labels are confusing and open to interpretation.

Interpretation 1

  • Scheduled Audit in (-10 days) could mean “when today is 10 days before the scheduled audit”
  • Scheduled Audit in (+10 days) could mean “when today is 10 days after the scheduled audit”

Interpretation 1

  • Scheduled Audit in (-10 days) could mean “when the scheduled audit was 10 days before today”
  • Scheduled Audit in (+10 days) could mean “when the scheduled audit is 10 days after today”

-10 means 10 days before the planned date, so i guess that is the one you want to use
