BUG - %ITEM_URL% in notification template not expanding in sent email body

Our notification template for both audit and maintenance includes %ITEM_URL%.

When the email is sent it just details “Item URL”. This broke after upgrading to 3.29.0, was working fine prior to that version.

I could not find an existing report of this issue on the forums. Looking for any possible workarounds, etc as useful to have a link straight to the item.

Which notification / email body are you using?
I tested the New Item and New Comments notifications, and the item URL appears in the email body. im on 3.30.0 btw.

It’s the email template for either the Audit or Maintenance Notification e.g.,
