Bug - Sending filters and skip when empty

Hi,

I created a report which should send me a mail when security policies have been updated since yesterday and skip the mail when the results are empty. And I created a second report that should send a mail when a new security policy is created and it should also skip the mail when the results are empty. However, I identified 2 bugs:

  • The Filter “Updated items (since yesterday)” does not work as it shows all items. Those items have not been updated for 6 days.
  • The Notification also send out mails, when the results are empty. The filter “new items (sicne yesterday)” works and does not show any items. But it still send out a mail with a empty pdf.

best regards,

hello!

i guess you mean, a “filter” - reason i bring this up is that a “report” is different from a “filter” !

just to make sure we are talking about the same thing, can you show a screenshot that shows in which section you are and what conditions are set? i tested the system filter on the policy table and found a bug:

Uploading…

as you can see the filter returned 21 policies updates since yesterday, but i did not modify all of them. what happened is that at midnight the cron calculates the status of each policy (missing reviews, etc) and when that update happens the “modified” column is automatically updated. that is what triggers the result to be different from what it should.

this is a bug: https://github.com/eramba/eramba_v2/issues/2117

we will test this a little bit today and i’ll update the post.

many thanks for reporting this
