Job Opening:
- We are hiring a GRC Consultant, this is a permanent position (8 hours a day).
- This is a fully remote role that includes three weeks of paid holidays.
- You must be based in a place where the timezone overlaps with countries in the European Union (GMT, CET, CET+1)
- You will become the 13th full time employee in eramba (lucky you!)
What’s the job all about:
- Deliver one hour demo calls (Zoom) to our customers (that is around 2-4 hs a week)
- Deliver (eramba implementation Zoom Workshops) to our customers (that can be around 5-15 hs a week)
- Help us improve documentation and create publications such as How-To guides, etc. (some 2-5 hs a week)
- Help our support teams when a customer question is very GRC oriented (maybe 1-2 hs a week)
- Help us design new features in eramba, thinking how they could look like, documenting them, working with dev teams when they have questions and eventually test (functional) them before making them public (some 2-5 hs a week)
- Some admin work including basic reporting, etc (1-2 hs a week)
NOTE: this job requires talking over Zoom to strangers (customers, prospects, etc) - if you don’t feel comfortable doing that then forget it! It’s not for you!
If you are a technical person, you will also do some of this:
- You will help us improve and maintain our Docker images and work on our AWS based infrastructure
- You will help us build eramba reports using BI tools
Compensation:
- Our pay starts at 50k EUR gross / year and can go much higher depending on your skills, experience and location.
- You will have a three year contract which can be cancelled anytime by both parties with a 3 month notification.
Trainings you will receive:
- We’ll make sure you know eramba really well
- You will gain a lot of experience in product management, feature design, testing, etc.
- You will learn how GRC is done at very mature organisations and also how to advice organisations that have not achieved that maturity yet (consulting)
- If you don’t know Linux, Dockers, AWS, etc - you will learn as well
Skills:
Must-haves:
- Understand how eramba works upside down
- Soft-skills that allow you to talk to customers and prospects over Zoom
- Practical experience in building and operating GRC departments. You should have in the past written and reviewed policies, tested controls, worked with some well known standard (ISO, PCI, etc), build and operate Risk Frameworks, etc.
- Our guess is you have, at least, some 2 “intense” years of hands on experience.
- Speak and write in English language very very well, this is very important (yes, very x 3)
Nice to haves (not mandatory):
- Dockers experience
- SQL / Rest skills (mostly for BI reporting tasks)
- Software development skills (mostly to be able to level up your discussions with development teams in eramba)
