Is it possible to add addition custom third party types? Currently you can only select Supplier, Regulatory and Customer.
there is a little debate in the team as to how to handle this type of request:
a- shall we make these status “configurable” , meaning you can add more on top of the existing ones?
b- ask users to use custom fields which are far more flexible (multiple select, etc)
we are slightly more inclined for #b at the moment as #a has in some places some custom logic (open, closed exceptions for example) which make this quite complicated to handle. we have an issue for #a
but is on the long term due the reasons state above, i suggest you use custom fields for now
Understood. I was just hoping to mirror the capability in the Security Policies module where you can define custom document types.
