With the new UI we introduced, inline editing was temporarily removed you had to open the full detail view just to change a single field. Inline edit is back now!
You can now edit fields directly from the index view without opening the edit window. This works across text fields, dropdowns, date fields, and user fields.
There are some limitations: fields that have additional logic (e.g. changing other fields or populating related fields) cannot be edited inline.
This functionality is only available on sections where edit form were migrated to the new UI.
To use it, click the pencil icon next to a field value. Confirm your change by clicking the Edit button.
