Feature - Module relationship sub-items to other modules

The new update introduced the option to create a custom field that links to another module through module relationships. We are very pleased with this feature because it reduces the number of custom fields we need to maintain. However we still miss this capability in two areas within Eramba, namely Security Service Issues and Compliance Analysis Findings, which are sub-items within a module.

We would like to link these directly to projects. At the moment different people can identify a security service issue (internal control issue), across different parts of the organization. For example there may be five separate issues related to the same control. Each person works on its own issue, with its own timeline and own business unit. So in practice these become five separate projects. Projects can be linked to the control itself, but this becomes confusing because the relationship between the five issues and the five projects is not visible. It also would be nice to be able to attach a status to these issues based on the project item (project ongoing, project planned etc.). The same situation occurs with Compliance Analysis Findings where multiple findings exist per item and cannot be clearly connected to the related projects.

We will wait a couple of months to see how this feature works out before expanding it to more sections. The idea is to expand this to more sections/sub-sections.

We are working on more drastic changes in the software (see product roadmap), so we need to choose our battles carefully!
