Feature - Notifications for control issues

It looks like it’s not possible to have notifications for control issues, however I would find it useful (for example when they expire, a comment is added, etc).

Any plan to add notifications to control issues?

Yes, I created issue. It is in our short-term backlog.

I see that the feature has now been implemented, but it’s not possible to specify any custom role as the recipient of the notification. For me it would be obvious to use the owner of the issue - without that the feature is not very useful in my opinion.
