Question - about the latest Eramba newsletter

I mean the one I received 15/06/2024 titled “eramba Newsletter”

I usually like reading about what is new with and around Eramba but this time I was left wondering about this sentence:

Compliance Packages

Last month, we created packages for NIS2, DORA and ISO23k. We also did mappings in between ISO and those packages. We plan to improve these mappings over the coming months.

What is ISO23k? I googled and found the following:

  • SO/IEC 23000, also known as MPEG-A, is a family of standards developed by the Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) that facilitates the creation of multimedia applications and services by combining existing MPEG technologies across different standards.
  • ISO 22301 is an international standard that specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and continually improving a documented Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).

I assume it is the latter or is it something completely different?

oh is this one, is a typo thanks for raising this up

OK - I didn’t receive a copy!
So I should have been ‘automatically’ subscribed…?

contact support@eramba.org pls

thank you, I understand that you mean it in a nice way.

but…is impossible to explain the stuff we pull here (at a cost / benefit ratio) to anyone that has not build and run (much harder) a project like this for over a decade. is extremely difficult, most times we do what we can not what we want.

I sometimes wonder why I just don’t get a job at some company and make my (and my family) life a lot easier.

I meant it in a nice way.

It is impossible to explain how often I recommended Eramba while always following up with “…don’t be put off by the GUI, give it a try, take my word for it, it’s the best tool for the job! Despite some quirky behavior, stick with it.”

I sometimes wonder why I just don’t get a job at some company and make my (and my family) lives a lot easier.

No, no, no, don’t even think about it, despite all my fights with GUI, I still love Eramba :kissing_heart:
