We sometimes get asked how to “archive” items - eramba does not delete anything (the trash can not be emptied) so if you want to archive something we typically rely on:

create a custom field “status” or “archive” with a dropdown “Yes” / “No” or whatever you want to call them.

adjust your display filters to include that column you just added

adjust your default filters (typically the “All Items”) to show items based on the “Archive” status, in that way by default you wont see anything that is set to “Archive” == Yes
