Question: Build Holding Structure in eramba

Dear eramba community,

I’m currently mapping our corporate structure in eramba and, unfortunately, I’m encountering the following obstacle very early on:

Our company is a holding company (GmbH), similar to a private limited company in the UK. There is a parent management limited company (MLP), which acts as the founder of several other limited companies.

(In Germany, the company form is always a GmbH, but I will always refer to it as a Private Limited to make things clearer!)

The other five companies with different corporate mandates are also all incorporated as limited companies or German GmbHs.

How can I map a parent holding company in eramba that operates with its own departments and employees for the subordinate companies and delegates their activities to them in the form of an administrative apparatus?

How can I map the subordinate companies that also partially work for the parent holding company?

So, a higher structural level must be set up that is above the departments and employees.

Is this possible in eramba? Currently, I can only find the option to set up departments, such as IT, HR, etc.

Best regards,

Anton Hetzner

hello anton,

which use case and in which episode of the documentation are you? this is fundamental to understand your issue.

Hi Anton,

We have nearly the same structure in our company. As far as we know, eramba is not natively multi-client capable. We have solved it more or less well via the user groups. However, this means in case of doubt that you have to create risks, assets and so on more than once. A corresponding naming convention helps here.
