We have a quite a lot of users in Eramba and we don’t want to give them the option to perform bulk edits. We know for sure that at some point someone will edit something wrong (Select ‘Replace’ instead of ‘Add’ for example) and will require us to restore the back-up. The new version provided a lot of nice features, but it looks like it removed the option to disable bulk edits. Is that correct?

Unfortunately, no — bulk edit does not have its own separate ACL.
It falls under the general edit permission, so access can only be managed at that level.
Is that something you would like to explore / add in a future update?
very unlikely for the time being as edit and bulk-edit is basically the same thing on the code right now, making it two different things is not exaclty simple
Understandable. How about a warning screen / notification? Similar to when you leave the page with unsaved filters. Something like ‘Only save / continue if you absolutely know what you’re doing’.
