Question - Microsft Excel CSV Export / UTF-8

Has anyone exprience on how you export a spreadsheet in Excel so:

  • it keeps the CSV format
  • it uses " " on every cell content
  • it exports the CSV in UTF-8 compatible format, this is of particular relevance to accommodate different languages

we dont have Microsoft at all here in eramba so is hard for us to test but im sure this is pretty easy to accomplish…?

@eramba I believe by default, Excel only adds quotations around strings of text. If you have a dropdown Data Validation cell, I don’t believe it will add the quotations. To export, you just have to “Save As” a CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited) (.csv) format.
