Question - Start of Maintenances and audits

Is it possible to set and save a preliminary audit or maintenance before actually finishing it?

My usecase is as follows
I have an audit or maintenance which requires multiple inputs from across the organisation. So if I I.E. start the audit the 2nd of March and get response 1 on this day, get response 2 on the 4th of March and response 3 on the 10th of March is there a way where I can progressively input the answers or is this meant to be done through the comments and attachments?

I am in a process of roling Eramba out throughout the organisation, and has a need for making it easier for me to input the right responses on an ongoing basis

all that goes to comments & attachments as part of the trail of the audit evidence and analysis, once all is cooked you close the audit. that is how we do it.

Thought so, I just wanted to be sure that I do it the right way
