Is there any functionality to link compliance findings to projects? I know I can link compliance items to projects, but a compliance item might have more than one finding, and single finding might apply to multiple compliance items. For me, that makes linking the findings to projects more meaningful than linking the compliance items to projects.
If this isn’t currently possible, it would be a good feature as it would allow a project to fill the role of CAPA for a compliance finding.
What we have done for CAPAs for one of our customers is turned the Incident module into CAPA land by customizing the language pack (changing names) and custom fields. The way we would address an audit compliance issue would be to link the CAPA to the impacted control. It may not be a direct linkage to the compliance finding, but from the controls view you should be able to filter on controls with active CAPAs and/or compliance findings.
What do we do for incidents now? It’s kind of a blend - day to day reports stay in JIRA and when an investigation is needed a CAPA is raised at that point to track what’s going on.
May or may not work for you, but at least it’s something you can do now without a code change 
The linking of audits and CAPA to compliance is my biggest challenge in implementing eramba. In the current data model, Findings are a dead end with many Findings to one Compliance item via Compliance Analysis.
Thanks @david.schroth for the suggestion to use the Incident module. I had dismissed that as an audit/CAPA solution, as I was hoping to use it for its intended purpose at a later stage in our implementation. I note your use of JIRA which echoes what I gather from the eramba Team that they don’t use eramba Projects/Tasks for their own operational task management.
I’m currently trying to adapt the Controls/Audits module linked to Projects/Tasks to record our audits and CAPA to fit with our way of working. Control-Audits can link to Projects via Improve, but Projects does not currently show the Controls-Audits-Improve table as a display/filter option (I have a Feature Request to fix this: Feature: Project linkage to Internal Control Audits improvement)
